Do you have a dream of becoming a great cinematographer? Then this international camp is for you!
Nordic Light workshop with lighting designer Luisa Fanciullacci, is a four days’ workshop that will give you a deeper knowledge about light and moviemaking. Our main focus will be to create the typical
“Bergman light” or “Nordic natural light” trough with different setting.

Odense Film Workshop will pick one participant that will be offered the trip.
THE WHO, WHAT, AND WHEN:
Who: You are a talent (20-30 years old) in the field of cinematograph/lighting master or aiming towards this
professions. You have some experience and have been involved in a couple of short films. Totally 12 participants
will be accepted.
What: Workshop for four days including training, lessons and seminar. You will learn about the character of light
which can be manipulated a created in multiple ways and how material and colors in the set effects the light.
You will be part of a creative and engaged group of talents from Scandinavian and Europe which give you an
excellent platform for your future work. Bring your own camera if possible.
When: 12– 15 June. (Starts 3 PM on Tuesday and ends at lunch on Friday).
Where: The workshop takes place around Gothenburg and West Sweden, Scandinavia’s leading film region, where many directors chose to shot their movies; Lars von Triers, Thomas Vinterberg, Joachim Triers and Ruben Östlund.
Costs: The workshop is free of charge, and the only costs are the travelling to Gothenburg and hotel expanses.
We have pre booked hotel (around 45 euro/night if you share a room, or 90 euro/night for single).
NB: Odense Film Workshop will cover the travel costs – the participant will only have to pay for the pre-booked hotel.
The Nordic Light workshop will be led by Luisa Fanciullacci, who has more than 20 years’ experience from film, TV and stage and fine art installations. She has a strong passion for light, and see light as an art form itself.
